Mumbai, India: The first ever India Couture Week was in full swing last week, from September 16-21.

If there’s one word to describe Indian fashion, it’s “BLING.”
11 of India’s top designers turned out to show off their fall collections, and people from every walk of life turned out in spades to take it all in — from photographers to fashionistas, everyone was accounted for.
I love Indian fashion for its color, its boldness, and, most of all, for its lavish use of jewelry! I expect a certain amount of bling when I think “Indian fashion,” and these designers certainly did not disappoint.
I can’t put the spectacle into words, so you’d better have a look for yourself over at Monsters and Critics.
So take a little tip from ICW 2008, and put a little bling in your step.
